Doing Well
07/12/2008 by Bob.
Hi Ted , Hi All, The weather has certainly been cold to say the least, But I am managing to keep warm, but always glad to get back indoors from being out, Thailand will seem very hot after this climate, many Thai people who come here and get acclimatised find Thailand too hot when they go back, I am actually Chinese by Birth, but was brought up in Thailand by my Parents after they moved to Thailand. and China can be a lot colder than here in the UK. Chilli. ………………..Bob.. Hi All Hope everyone is well and dont have to many icicles hanging . certainly Brass Monkey weather to say the least. Roll on summer if we are going to get one next year. From what the forecasters say we are going to get a lot more of what we are having, but when have they ever been right. Take care all. Love and Blessings Bob and Chilli.

Hi, families
06/12/2008 by Ted.
Hello everyone,
I have just been looking at the very first entries on the blog in December 2006. (All earlier blogs are accessible by clicking on the months displayed at the bottom of the right hand column.)
What a lot of change. The first blogs were mostly concerned with little mum and her first Christmas in St. George’s - so many lovely memories there on the photographs. And now it is December 2008. Mum has moved on to join our dad and our Gwen in that better place and new babies have been added to our numbers and life goes on. And as it does I become more and more conscious of the love which still flows and surrounds our family from that beloved trio in that better place. I am sure that awareness is because my happily retired life allows me to step aside from the hustle and bustle to pause and reflect and thereby experience things which I (we) can’t do when I am (we are) busy. That is my enjoyable experience.
Well, what is going on at this end?
This morning is a beautiful frosty one with a cloudless sky - a joy to be alive (and indoors in the warm!) And it is now only 15 days until the shortest day - hurray!!! Even the knowedge that we are past 21st December gives a joyous boost to life making me look for snowdrops and daffodils when it is far too early for them to be about. But the feel good factor is immense. And I had a suprise last week when I was topping up the compost in my containers of spring bulbs. One green shoot was already showing 2cm above the old compost. So I gently explained to it that it was still a bit too early and gently covered it with another layer of compost. It was good to see signs of Spring already though.
I trust everyone is well.
How is Chilli doing with all the snow and frost,Bob? What a change for her. It was nice to see the pictures.
And Peter and Barbara - back in the UK now after a week in Teneriffe - welcome back you two!
We have not yet had a blog from Andrew to say that Janette is over her dizziness. Regarding our prayer for her, I guess that if Jesus promised that if we pray then we have the answer - guaranteed! - and we have prayed then we already have the answer which is just to be RECEIVED. So maybe we should just thank Him for that answer and accept it into place. Our faith (in His promise to us) sees her now perfectly and fully healed from her problem. You have just to accept your healing, Janette! On the assurance of the certain promise accept that you are now wonderfully well again and start enjoying life again.
Yesterday I listened to an 83 year old lady who almost daily brings miracles into her life. She has a codeword which is “SPEC”. “S” stands for Select (the miracle required), “P” stands for Project (confidently ask for the miracle required) “E” stands for Expect (the miracle required) and “C” stands for Collect (the miracle required). Her testimony is that she has never asked for anything and not received it. Her codeword is as valid for us as for her. We have Selected the miracle (Janette to be wonderfully well), we have Projected the prayer (for her to be made wonderfully well) and we are at stage 3 Expect (Janette to be made wonderfully well) - so ……. when Janette Collects - Andrew will write his blog.
Special greetings to dear Gwen’s precious “children” Alison and Tracy and Graham and their families. Trust you are all well and happy.
And everyone else too - loved just as much, though not mentioned by name - yet. But watch this space!
Well, there we are.
You are all very special and very loved. I often sit back, close my eyes and in my mind visit a family and give you all, each person, a hug. I know little mum used to do that. So I do it, not for her, but for me ’cos I enjoy it too. So, Richard, if you are driving along at 3am on a frosty morning and feel a hug don’t panic - it’s only me. And that goes for all of you.
Right, that’s it for now. My love to you all and God bless you,

Beautiful children
02/12/2008 by Andrew.
Yes, Mum used to say how our family has been blessed with a lot of healthy beautiful children and she was right.
Winter is kicking in with a vengeance now, had to finally discard my shorts. Those long hot days of summer seem like a dream now. Thats probably because they were just a dream! Ha Ha!
Never mind it will soon be the shortest day and we can start heading downhill again. Anyway I am off to do some work so everyone - be blessed.
Love Andee XXXX
