No, we haven’t disappeared.
17/11/2008 by PeterJohnson.
Hello everyone. Hope you are all well. I have been reading the blog, looking up Indian Summers, wondering if I have the brains to make letters coloured, and generally catching up with all your news!
I don’t think I’m very good at this “visual” thingy. Maybe “fly-on-the-wall” can write it in words of one syllable, and show me where the”visual” tab is?
Our family is OK. Phil was working abroad for short periods eg. Spain,Sweden,Italy,Poland, Germany to mention but a few, but is now working from home. Ali is kept busy with Billy and little Ted ‘tho Billy is at full-time school now.Pete and I are taking it in turns to take to our beds with painful joints. Poppy, our border collie, also has a dysplasic hip joint, so we take it in turns to discuss our symptoms and than take the pills!
Just think, you may get my next post in colour, but until then black and white will have to do.
Congratulations to James, Katia and Gabriella on the wonderful birth of Jonathan. The pictures are fantastic. Pete may think he knows about all this technology, but he hasn’t worked out how to put photies on the blog. Listen out for a ‘phone call, “fly - on - the - wall!”
Life here in Barrow goes on as usual, more roads closed, more traffic bumps, diversions here there and everywhere, more shops closed, the best reason for living here is the panoramic view we get from our house, from Morecambe Bay on the left (South) to the Lower slopes of the Combe (North), and the wonderful sunsets, when it’s not raining! So, we are alive and well(??), and we send our love to you all. Barb and Pete xxx (+Poppy).
For you - a pleasure, my dear. Lord Fly.
