Television Licence update.

16 October 2007. This morning I received an envelope (presumably containing a notice that the Television Licensing Authority had no record of a Television Licence at this address), enfaced in large capital letters with the instruction ”ACTION REQUIRED. OPEN IMMEDIATELY” It was addressed to “The Present Occupier”.
As the Television Licensing Authority have many times written to me by name at this address I circled in pen “The Present Occupier”, wrote in large capital letters on the envelope “NO LONGER LIVES HERE. PLEASE RETURN TO SENDER” and posted it, unopened, back to them.

Television License update

6 October 2007. Following my post of 28th August 2007 regarding the opening shots of another duel with the Television Lisensing Authority, I received a very pleasant telephone call from a lady there last week saying that she had not received a reply to her letter to me about the television I bought. I explained that I had sent a reply and re-assured her that I did not have a television and would not have one in the future. I said that they could come round and see for themselves if they wished and she said that they would be doing so.
